Students Live United Program Coordinator – Part Time
Location: 115 Clover St., Holland MI 49423
Summary: Greater Ottawa County United Way is seeking a creative, detail oriented, self-starter to help grow the Students Live United program into its next phase. Students Live United is a high school program aimed at engaging students in community impact through United Way’s Live United model. This position is 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule based on program needs. Hourly rate $10-$12 per hour.
Responsibilities: In cooperation with the Vice President of Volunteer Engagement, the successful candidate will ensure the Students Live United Program is operating effectively and efficiently. Coordinator will schedule and present at all high schools for student recruitment; schedule and run meetings; coordinate events; manage data base and social media; responsible for ordering and organizing all materials, and inventory management. Finding and securing sponsors for the program.
Skill Set/Requirements: Strong verbal and visual communication skills including presentations. Basic knowledge of computer skills (i.e. word, power point, excel, database, social media); detail oriented and organized; a creative self-starter with nonprofit and/or youth programming experience preferred. Bilingual skills a plus.
