Hundreds Roll Up Their Sleeves, Open Their Hearts for Ninth Annual Day of Caring in Ottawa County

Thursday, September 18, 2008 was a picture perfect day for the Ninth Annual Day of Caring.  More than 700 volunteers fanned out to all four corners of Ottawa County to complete 90 projects.

At a volunteer luncheon held at Yogi Bear Camp & Resort in West Olive, Jeff Beswick kicked off the 2008-09 Community Campaign, announcing a goal of $2.11 million.
