HELP END HOMELESSNESS WHILE EATING LOCAL DURING 'HOUSING MATTERS' WEEK

Greater Ottawa County United Way and the Lakeshore Housing Alliance invite the community to ‘Housing Matters’ during the week of April 17. From Sunday, April 17 – Saturday, April 23, community members will have the opportunity to add a dollar or more to their meal bill at participating restaurants: New Holland Brewing Company, The Biscuit and deBoer Bakkerij. All proceeds go to the Lakeshore Housing Alliance, and will be used for homelessness prevention initiatives in Ottawa County.

'Housing Matters' is hosted by the Lakeshore Housing Alliance in partnership with area restaurants, Greater Ottawa County United Way, our sponsors: Gentex Corporation and Hooker DeJong, Inc. (Roof Sponsors); Realtors Who Care (Brick Sponsor); and as Bodhi Tree Yoga & Wellness Studio’s charity of the month for April.

The Lakeshore Housing Alliance (LHA) is a collaboration of human service agencies, community members and local businesses dedicated to identifying needs, developing a vision, encouraging coordination of responses, and advocating for safe, accessible, affordable housing and services in the Ottawa County area. The LHA is a program of Greater Ottawa County United Way. For more info, contact Amanda Telgenhof at atelgenhof@ottawaunitedway.org or call (616) 396-7811 x 212.
