United Way Welcomes Telgenhof as Community Impact Coordinator

Greater Ottawa County United Way welcomes Amanda Telgenhof to their staff as community impact coordinator. As part of the Impact team, Amanda will work closely with the director of community impact and the Lakeshore Housing Alliance coordinator to support United Way’s impact work in Ottawa County.

Amanda graduated from West Ottawa High School in 1998. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in public and nonprofit administration from Grand Valley State University, with plans to graduate in December 2016. She said, “I was born and raised in Holland, and have lived here almost my entire life, so I have a close connection with this community. I am excited to join the United Way team in hopes that I might use my skills and knowledge to support the good work it does, and to help build the bridges that can guide those who are struggling to get the resources that can make a difference in their lives.”

Amanda lives in Holland with her husband and two children. She enjoys reading, photography, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.
