Community Action House (CAH) has provided help, hope, and relief to the Greater Holland Area since 1969. Through stabilization services, shower program, Community Kitchen and financial/educational program, we are working to address the needs within our community.

Who We Are
What We Do
We provide hunger relief via two client-choice walk-in Food Pantry locations, a Gleaners/Feeding-America-style Food Distribution, each month, free hot lunch five days a week, and a sharing and distribution of bread and fresh vegetables every week during Fresh Fridays. CAH is also a HUD and MSHDA Certified organization equipped to educate our community via a wide range of financial and home owner programs that are presented free of charge to Ottawa and Allegan County residents. Since 2012, CAH has also journeyed into innovative ways of helping individuals into stability and self-sufficiency through it's Empowering People In our Community (EPIC) program, which provides intensive support, classes, and resources to break the cycle of generational poverty. Supportive programs like thrift and resale operations at the General Store and 2.5 tons of fresh vegetables grown at the Holland Community Garden provide further ways for our community to support the long-term success of all families in our community.
