UNITED WAY APPOINTS NEW BOARD CHAIR; WELCOMES NEW BOARD MEMBERS

On Thursday, April 28, the Greater Ottawa County United Way Board of Directors appointed Sarah Lilly of Five Star Lakeshore to be the 2016-2017 Chair of the Board. Lyndsie Post of Davenport University was appointed vice chair; Keith Van Beek of Ottawa County remains in the office of treasurer; Kirk Koeman of DWH Corp. was appointed secretary; and Randy Kortering of Haworth assumed the role of At-Large trustee.

 

The board voted to add three new trustees to serve three-year terms each. They are Deborah Erickson of Fifth Third Bank, Brent Hadden of Coopersville Area Public Schools and Tamara Jalving of GHSP. Returning trustees are: Anna Bednarek, Community Mental Health of Ottawa County; Kevin Hook, publisher of the Grand Haven Tribune; Jeanene Kallio, Transmatic; and Michael MacPherson, Huntington National Bank.

 

The board thanks outgoing trustees David De Young, Eric Kaelin and Larry Koops for their dedicated service to Greater Ottawa County United Way.
