Greater Ottawa County United Way welcomes Allison Duer to its staff as Students LIVE UNITED Program Coordinator. Duer will run the Students LIVE UNITED program, which provides high school students in Ottawa County with the support and tools they need to engage in local volunteer opportunities and build leadership skills.

Allison also works as a Realtor and a high school competitive cheer coach for West Michigan Christian High School. She studied studio art and graphic design at Michigan State University and attended discipleship training school at YWAM in Perth, Australia.

She is involved in her community as a volunteer for Feeding America, Sunday School teacher, small group youth group leader and a cheer coach for Spring Lake’s Youth Football Club.

Allison says, “I am excited to be joining United Way as the Students LIVE UNITED Program Coordinator! I have always supported and been impressed with the work of all of the many helpful programs United Way has to offer, and I believe that Students LIVE UNITED can be a powerful tool and resource for these kids’ futures. I am honored to be a part of a program that helps kids to get out and involved in their communities.”
